Relax and relieve stress with this favorite flower.





Botanical Name: Lavandula

Etymology: Latin lavare “to wash”

Color: Purple



Properties:


  • Relaxing, may be sedating to some degree

  • Antiseptic

  • Anti-inflammatory

  • Analgesic



Helps with:


  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Muscle Soreness

  • Menstrual Cramping

  • Depression

  • Sleeplessness








Ways to Use:


  • For stress relief and help with sleep, add lavender essential oil to your bath or use in a diffuser before bedtime

  • For sore muscles, mix a few drops into coconut oil and massage into muscles
